I just go to one of the Internet shops out there and print off return boarding passes,,, simple innit...

I'm a bit belt and braces when it comes to travel documentation, even our journey tomorrow to Ireland all documents (boarding passes, car hire, accommodation data and airport car parking info) are printed twice, Annie carrying one copy and me the other, plus I will be carrying out a passport and driving licence check before we all depart to the airport...

That all said it almost went tits up once, when Annie took ill in Tenerife and I flew out on my own, I still printed my boarding pass twice, that's all the documentation I had as I was initially staying in the apartment Annie's daughters had rented and I had no return flight booked as I did not know when I would be returning, so one copy of the boarding pass in my pocket with my passport and the other in my hand luggage, on train to airport being a belt and braces eejit I check my passport and boarding pass, boarding pass is for a Victorta Angeletti going to Marco Polo airport Venice from Manchester later the same day... I quickly check the the second boarding pass in my hand luggage, it is correct,,, how the fu#k,,, I recall printing one off, then thinking I'll print a second one just to be safe so I re-entered the site and printed the second copy...
I cleared security using my boarding pass but at the boarding gate I gave the check in girl both boarding passes explaining what had happend,,, she says that's impossible,,, I say if I hadn't double checked the boarding pass on the train I would now be trying to use the Victoria Angaletti one to board the plane,,, so lesson learnt allways read what comes out the printer, it may not be what your expecting...

That's so very true we should always check everything but we don't do we , well I don't .
