Didn't carry out a scan, two of them had a good grope around my neck, then camera down nose/throat and a dental X-ray...

Re: The doctors surgery
Eileen's sister is now being put on some kind of drug they use in chemo ( on top of the 2 antifungals and iv antibiotics that she has been on for30 days now). They had to send her file to some top specialist in manchester to see how to procede. Just hope he wasn't the same guy that Minty had!!

Re: The doctors surgery
Yeah, that's my issue, two docs at the hospital say it ain't anything nasty (cancer), that's what my doc wanted checking out, hence appointment in less than a week, but they can't tell me what it is...
Pills doc gave me seem to be helping the sinus issue but not neck...

Today Matthew, I've managed to eat a little tub of mandarins, some grapes and strawberries and a banana. I know it's not best food for stomach problems but it's all I can face.

Re: The doctors surgery
No. I've got a sneaky suspicion it may have been a steak pie I ate cold from a shop on Monday, can't be sure though.

Re: The doctors surgery
Yeah good luck M. Cam if you continue insist on being tested for Campylobacter as if left it gets worse as it breeds very fast and lays dormant in stages then bang you can bottom out(excuse the pun) very quickly, by that though I mean start to go downhill rapidly. It is usually from raw chicken contamination and I would hazard a chance that the steak pie was prepared in area where raw chicken was being used and someone has not
sanitised.
sanitised.

On lesser sinus issues,,, came back from holiday to a letter from the docs, he's got hospital report and they suggest blood tests so I've to make an appointment with surgery nurse, that was a two week wait, nurse says make an appointment with doc for results, that was another two week wait, was there Wednesday, blood test results all positive, doc say your fine goodby,,, I say no I'm still feeling shit, same symptoms I've had for six months now, he has a bit prod around neck, I jump when he hits a certain point,,, he still relates it all to my sinus issues,,, a months antibiotics,,, a month!!! Oh, and nasal spray...........
