Re: The doctors surgery
Went in all hyped up and ready for arse invasion...they gave me 3 large horse pills which are supposed to kill the natural bugs in your ass so you don't get infection when biopsies are taken. Called me in to doc's office after half hour and said they couldn't go ahead as I am resistant to the anti-biotics. He has to talk to his consultant mates now to see whether to go in between the rectum and testicles or not do it at all...guess which option I'm rooting for? Anyway. he also said they needed the results of the MRI scan as well before the procedure which I am going for in an hour... You can't make this stuff up.

Re: The doctors surgery
Trouble is they get paid whatever
If they were self employed on pay by results job would go a lot smoother and quicker

2 different hospitas as well. Queen Margaret in Dunfermline for the MRI and Queen Victoria in Kirkcaldy for the biopsies...don't they communicate with each other. Nurse in Victoria says "you need to do a flow test". I said " I did that last week at Queen Margaret". "Oh, I can get those records then." Don't these things update and collate together?

"Hows that for a fire hose" as i was being escorted out of the building i shouted i have been thrown out of better places than this

And it can screw up in a ten minute window, at hospital to see consultant about issues with both knees, I'm called in to one of the rooms, it's not the consultant but one of his assistants doing an assessment of my issues, I explain very clearly the issues with both my knees which differ greatly from one to the other and the cause for the issues, the assistant twists and bends my knees and takes notes while I'm explaining issues,,, assistant disappears, I'm told to wait in room, ten minutes later consultant appears with a typed up report on my condition from assistant, he starts to read through report, I have to keep stopping him and saying things like, sharp pain is in my right knee not left, or, left knee was a twisting injury not compression that was right one,,, report was all wrong, consultant was scribbling through it making amendments, you could see he was less than pleased...
Then the one I've posted before, sinus operation, I've seen consultant umpteen times pre operation, after operation surgeon comes to me and asks if I've had any previous sinus operations, I say yip three, he asks did you have your sinus cartilage removed at any, I say yip at last one,,, "Oh, that's what we intended removing today"...

Re: The doctors surgery
No need to be sorry. My dad has defied the odds all his life. Pure stubbornness lol. But I hope that isn't the case now. My dad more than earned his death. It's long overdue
