That's where I take mine Kev. Rip-off though...they take £7 out of every £100 those machines. I used to take then to the bank, I'd count it, then Trish would count it . then the girls would count it. Hand it over to the teller and they still looked at you as though you were stealing money off them. Bassas!

I got one of those tiny dustbins ( well thats what it looks like to me). I throw all coins and 5 euro notes into it every evening. Have been doing it for last 2 years and its now going to pay for our holiday in July. I reckon I'll clear 4500 euro out of it.

Much like Cam and Third, my cousin had a jar in which he would throw any pound coins he had, I’m going back to days when notes were still in use and pound coins were not as common as nowadays.

His house was broken in to, TV, video etc stolen, plus his pound coin jar, insurance company paid out for TV etc, but not his pound jar, he reckoned there was well over a grand in it.....

I'm the same Reg, sunlight sets them off. I have to use lip balm with sun block in it to keep them at bay.
