I've been bitten by them 2 or 3 times whilst holidaying in the highlands. They don't just bite and bugger off, they stay on you to get their fill of blood before they drop off themselves which can be a few hours or so. WE used to get tweezers to get them off but you had to make sure you didn't leave the head in the skin! Midgies and Ticks

Patsy fell over last night on her way out from work, twisted her ankle and grazed her knee so shes had a day off. They rang this afternoon to see if shes ok/not on holiday swinging it.  The doctors surgery - Page 14 1498946960  Thats the trouble with Inland Revenue, they just assume everyones lying.  The doctors surgery - Page 14 3025408739

I like the latest news on alcoholism you can now go to the doc for a pill you can take to stop your craving for alcohol the pill I believe costs about 2 quid certainly cheaper than a pint of cider or a bottle of red.

seemingly this pill you get from the doc affects the part of the brain that craves alcohol therefore stopping your craving for drink.

if that is the case regarding the pill stopping the craving when you need a drink then I will be swallowing them all day.

Twas a big black thing. I was trying to swat it away immediately ( without even looking) cos the pain was severe. Didn't get a decent look at it. What the photo doesn't show is that my leg , from the knee down, is also pink and warm. The actual bite site was hot ( not quite as bad today though)

seemingly if a jumping spider bites you it can cause a stiffness in the bite area for a few days.
