Winging it most of them, spend a lot of time gazing at a computer screen wondering what they should prescribe. Mine is a Welshman, I try not to walk in looking sheepish........

Re: The doctors surgery
I blame you lot - there is always something wrong with one of you and now I find it is catching.
Returned from hols feeling awful, very dizzy, feet swollen (thought that was the flights coupled with coach journeys - wrong). Went to the docs to find my blood pressure was 190/110 - having to go back each day for a week to have it measured and had a blood test yesterday.
Got the results today everything is fine (except the b/p which is also affecting cholesterol). Given tablets and have to see the cardiologist next week.
Still feel dizzy, but now the worry of diabetes and/or cancer has been cleared up through the tests (3 pages of them!!) which showed apart from the high blood pressure I am disgustingly healthy I now feel a lot better.

Re: The doctors surgery
Been to the doctor today. Have had sinus probs since I came back from Tenerife in August. I thought it was just pollen because of the very dry summer we had. Anyway, I've had block sinuses ever since and a cough that I can't get rid of since October. Quack today listened to my lungs. "Breathe in" she said. I did. I sounded like feckin Thomas the Tank Engine. "Breathe out" she said. Sounded like a fog horn. Did this for another 4 times. "Right" she said, your lungs are clear". WTF????? She said the cough was probably viral in nature because 2 doses of antibiotics didn't clear it. I got a steroid spray for the sisuses and Codinex for the cough which is highly addictive apparently. (Isn't Codine a painkiller??). If it hasn't cleared by end of next week, guess where I have to go again?? Back to bloody hospital for chest x-ray. I'm sick of all this sickness mullarkey

Re: The doctors surgery
Dont talk to me about sinuses , Dermot Get yourself a Sterimar sea salt spray
Sure you see your arse coming out, but it shifts anything naturally
Sometimes i mix up a jug of warm water salt and baking powder, I fire that up with a big srynge,
You can feel it go right round your brain sack and it comes out of your eyes too,
That just for men that can take it though , , That spray is very good,
I use it after the plane Washes all the bugs out, I keep one in Tenerife too
