Re: The doctors surgery
Begining to think Annies got a bit of a hospital/doctor fettish thing, she's out June last year with her mates, seventeen days in hospital,,, then November a visit to the clinic at the Valdes Center due to sore throat/glands all swollen, today we're back there for the same thing,,, well when I say we're I'm in the nearest bar giving moral support...

Lack of lubrication to the throat obviously, no pervs I mean she is probably only drinking same as in UK and should take more on board here.

Re: The doctors surgery
Turns out its the sane as in November, bug bites have set of an infection, course of antibiotics plus a jab of them in the bum to start her off, paracetamol to kill the pain and fever plus antiseptic cream to rub on the bites, €23 euros at the chemists that lot was...
I've also been bitten, and a lot more than her, bugs seam to love me,, but I'm just itchy, she's going to have to go to the doctor back home before we come out again and see if there's anything she can do to prevent it happening,,, getting feckin expensive it is...

Re: The doctors surgery
Update, they moved Annies dad about midway through our holiday from the hospital to the hospital section of the care home he was in,,, Annie was in two minds as to go on holiday as they were having feeding issues with him on the days leading up to us going,,, I said to her lets just go and if we need to jump a flight back so be it,,, most of the time she was visiting him in hospital he was either asleep or two confused to recognise her so her not being there he would probably not even notice... As it happens he seems to be doing ok, they've had him out of bed at the care home and his communication seems a bit better,,, not what we left expecting...

Oh, when I say he's improved, it's very minor, just we were expecting things to go the opposite way...

Our Eoghan has to get a growth removed from his neck. Happening on May 20th. Quack doesn't think it's anything to worry about but best have it off in case.

Derek from The Times had one of them for years and he got it off 4 years ago. It was like a table tennis ball under the skin!

Sunday when Annie Visits her dad ain't so good, they phone doctor, doc doesn't visit, says it sounds like another infection and prescribes antibiotics, today she went straight to the home from work, says her dad ain't good, they get doctor, they're moving him back to the hospital, still waiting on any update...

Re: The doctors surgery
that is why I said what I did mate, they seem better so all the docs back off and fact is they are trying hard to improve and draining themselves more, so need more stability and help.
Dermo hope the growth removal is al Ok, Reg has one on his neck to get removed, his fecking head...

Ben has two on his head at the front in his hairline so you can't see them . They started getting bigger so he went to the doctors & they said they were cists & were no problem unless they got too big then they would remove them x

Re: The doctors surgery
FFS, hospitals, pen feckin pushers, etc,,, as said Annies dad died 07:20 Saturday morning, she was at his bedside in the hospital at the time, she asks whats the procedure now, she's told his body would be kept at the hospital untill the appropriate paperwork was sorted out and that wouldent happen over the weekend,,, so she phones this morning, first appointment she can get with the person who deals with the paperwork,,, Thursday afternoon...
So she still contacts the undertaker she intends to use to get proceedings started, they won't do a thing without a death certificate,,, now I don't know how it works in England but when my dad died up in Scotland I got a piece of paper from the hospital then still had to go to Register House to register the death and get the death certificate, so expect that's what Annie will be doing Friday...
What a faf around, old guy was 82, had been in and out of hospital for months before his death, the hospital assist in the process by switching off the oxygen,,, no suspicious circumstances, so why not at time of death issue the paperwork to allow the funeral planning to proceed, but no it's got to be dragged out for another week...
