Well we are here, the hotel is fab. Been for a walk baking to las Americas today got a taxi back deck that lol. Bar owners tell me it's quiet. Weather spot on no where near as hot as Beni it's just right upto now. Having fun and chilling basically

What's these extras on taxis, we have proper tarriffs what you see is what you pay. The tarriffs we see have no Number only a flashing E we get to aroma gran for around 5 euro then they add extras on top they added 1 euro 10 tonight , I'm a taxi driver I will pay extra but not used to these extras for nowt

Ask for a receipt and driver number, the extras normally vanish, failing that punch them and run off

If you flag him down rather than get in at taxi rank .20c per person
And if you use a radio-taxi (so the closest to you arrives) rather than wait for one off a rank. There is a supplement of .50c per person.
It would be interesting to see how a receipt from a driver compares to the official tariffs

Crikey 50c I would die lol. Yeah the taxi we got was from a rank, I expected the price to be higher at a certain time of the night the same as ours but it shows on the meter as you are driving, I don't add extra on at the end of a journey. Just wondered that's all, I might try the receipt trick.
We are loving it here mind, sitting around the hotel grounds listening to the sea. You can't really fault itt.

Yep. That's what I did. Kent added on 50c at end of journey. Came to 6.90. I gave him a tenner and waited until I got full 3.10 back.

Well tonight was a good start, 4.15 from the rank just up the road from arona gran to safari centre cheapest yet, got a taxi back it was 5 euro and he cleared the metre just shy of the hotel and it was 5 euro when he stopped hecasked for 7 euro near enough the same as Sunday tarriffs, by the way the tarriffs was tarriffs three yet again at 01.010. I got a receipt this time. I'm not convinced these drivers are playing fair, I couldn't ripp anyone off in my taxi although I've argued with those that have. It's discussing practice to do stuff like that. I wouldn't and couldn't make myself out to be a liar like that

Tomorrow is our last full day, we travel back 5.20 on Friday. Got to say I'm gutted and could easily do another week here it's been fantastic. So relaxed, went into the sea today in las Americas. Enjoyed Los Cristiano's through the day and the safari centre at night including those bars behind, the strip. Tried a bar on the hill on the new part of LC called Cc's but never again the draught was terrible. Catch up later guya
