Sorry P.S. didn't notice that you asked about car insurance, in my experience that has not been the case ,I very seldom insure with the same firm and usually play one against the other ,of course it depends what you drive ,this year my road tax and insurance combined was £180

Re: What are you doing today??
My mate who lives Cams part of the world has been going on about buying a motorbike for the last couple of years or more, so while I'm watching the football yesterday I get a phone call, he's eventually bought one, so where does he go for his first run on it, over the new bridge...
What I don't get is the timing, buy it at the start of summer not winter, suspect it will be like last road bike he had, never leave the garage, it's some years back he bought a brand new Honda Four, had it for 10 years or so and sold it with 700 miles on the clock...
Picture on newly acquired ornament...

Probably change my mind next week

Re: What are you doing today??
Cars are brilliant these days, 100k miles without a problem quite common, In the 70's if a car came in with 100k on it everybody gathered round to stare at it, but MOT time we got 2 or 3 pages to put right to gain a pass, I take 4 or 5 a week up and tyres exhaust and a bulb or 2 is it,
Honda Accord on Wed needed a n/s front side light bulb, that was 15 year old,
Sleep well Mr Brodie with your wallet in tact because i bet you were sweating
