Re: What are you doing today??
If you recall last Saturday we ended up traipsing all over town to find a pub showing three o'clock match cos pub we normally watch three o'clock matches in on dodgy satellite channels is closed at the moment due to management issues, pub we eventually found match on in is called the Shamrock, it's on the edge of town, got a bit of a reputation,,, but it's got the match on, match is on some Far East channel so no commentary, so what do punters do,,, sing IRA songs all through the match,,, I told my English mate just to mime...
So where are we watching the match today,,, The Shamrock, fecked if I'm tromping all around town again this Saturday trying to find a pub with it on, missed good part of first half last week, not again...

So,,, I arrive pub first cos Annie's dropping me off on way to see her sister (Oh, I will be posting on the "100 Year Old Driving School" thread), pubs a bit empty but there are four lads sitting next to me at next table, they're talking about some footballer, didn't catch guys name, one of them says "seemingly he's a bit of a lad, he's half English, half Irish and half American".......
So when Gary (mate) arrives I relay above to him, he says it's a bit like Graham's story about being with the twin prostitutes, I say what story's that??? Now before I go in to story Graham is a good lad, drinks in local and Gary worked same place as him at one time, but unfortunately Graham is not the full shilling and for sexual needs uses prostitutes, so Gary in a honest question asks Graham "so how old were these twin prostitues",,, Graham's answer, 18 and 20...
You can't make it up...

Re: What are you doing today??
We went in really early, about 12:00 hrs which is why it was empty in the photo, but there was a constant stream of people all dressed up going into the bar, maybe a birthday party or summat. (Not a wedding as no flowers in lapels). Good wholesome grub for under a tenner a main meal.

Re: What are you doing today??
I have to phone a guy in Bellshill today to go and see him about replacing a pole in his garden. He was away on holiday the last two weeks and he fecks off in his caravan at weekends! I'm phoning him about 1300 hrs to see if he's back, then I'll drive down from Dunfermline to see him. This is in my own time by the way, he works from 9-5 during the week so I'd miss him each work day. Needs must...
