Ooooh, looks like Pixie might be pregnant! Her little teats have got longer! I did point out that it could just be the cold weather! Hope she is, we have never had puppies before.

Pixie has some ginger on her head. Dont think she is Scottish though. Unusually for a Jack Russel she never barks so I havent caught the accent yet. She bites first!

Dont think theres much doubt about it now, shes one fat bitch! April 1st was my original prediction but it might be sooner. Just tried to book flights coming back on 23/3 but the sites gone belly up. Try again in the morning. Seriously dont want these puppies being born if I'm not there. They need a Daddy. Or, well, someone to take some photos........ It will be the first forum litter......

We have puppies! Pixie started labour at 9pm last night. First was born at 10.28pm and the second at 10.36. Nearly 2 hours went by and then a third, followed by another at 01.11. Could be more to come but thats the state of play at the moment. Number 2 is all white and squeeks the other 3 have black markings at the moment. Will put some pics up as soon as possible. Adorable little things about as big as hamsters.

Being a new step Daddy is time consuming. Sadly my camera has buggered up but at last I have managed to connect my phone to this lap top so I can send you some pics. The quality is a bit naff, like my phone but you can just about make them out. We have 4 boys and 2 girls. First pic was yesterday and the second this morning with their mum, all asleep.
