Just been to the quaks, Ive had a blood pressure machine for a week, So i was taking that back and giving some blood to check my diabetes,Nurse came flying in to the waiting room and took the machine, 10 minutes later she came back "Border line she says i'l ring you" But your taking blood, Err oh yes come with me, She takes 7 pints and says make an appointment for next week, "I have i told you" Err oh yes erm I'l ring you, Talk about a blady shambles, I said these muscle pains in my arms, Dont suppose it would effect my heart and cause my blood pressure to go up, I'l ring you, Oh thanks then,

Morning all. Just back from meeting with engineer. We got the contract for the leisure centre. Bit complicated as we weren't first choice but the guy who won the contract originally couldn't get credit from banks to purchase equipment in advance. ( Leisure Centre have government grant conditional on work being completed prior to money being advanced).
Will be going to see my nice bank manager next week.

Congratulations, it is always nice to win a big contract. Is it your business or are you the Project Manager for a big company
Forget the second part of the above ... you would hardly be going to see a Bank manager if the business wasn´t yours Doh!!

I was out gathering crops this afternoon, And Janet took a call from the Quacks, I did say ring my moby but no, So Janet rings me and says, "Nurse was concerned about you this morning, You wasnt your usual self she said" Meaning i crawled in to the place, She wants you to see the doctor @ 4,50, So i went, You have to log in and it tells you who your seeing and where, upstairs or downstairs, Anyway turns out to be the muppet i try to avoid, Now ive had this conversation with the nurse about this guy, They dont slag each other off but she knew about him, So blox i thought i'm not seeing him, So back to the desk, Excuse me can i cancel him and see wots his name, Err, Be wednesday now, No rush i said, its been 7 years you have been trying to sort me out, Just then sally the nurse see's me heading for the exit,
I mentioned to her this morning about having muscle pains and no strength in me, I told the muppet months ago, He said "Go to the gym, Use it or lose it" The gym What am i going to do watch, I have (had) a manual job, so im lifting pullin and pushing all day, Gym my arse, Lucky if i can empty the kitchen bin, Cheeky bleeders,

Start weight lifting Reg, standing up for a pee is a start, holding your own.
Seriously get a couple of tins of beans, one in each hand and when sitting watching the TV or any free time just do one hand at a time. A few wrist extensions and a few pumps. It ain't much weight but will help your arms and blood flow.

I got some weights, Luke my son said who's are they the cats ? Thats how bad it is, I sit faffing with them, It dont help. Its more than that, I know something is wrong somewhere, If i went about repairing cars like doctors treat me, i would starve, If i drop down dead they still get paid, Its all wrong, I'l be in a wheel chair soon if they dont get their finger out,
Hero to zero in a few years, It isnt old age, There is something wrong,
Janets going to march me down to nuffield centre soon,

Keep questioning them Reg until you get a satisfactory answer. If your not happy with the answer, ask to see another doctor/specialist.

Reg pay private, we had to for a scan for Jan. She went to see a specialist via her Doctor, he said no you don't need MRI, nowt wrong. Tried to point out that the last 3 scans had shown deterioration and that it was advised to have a scan every 3 years. Paid private, acute spondylosis, prolapse of c5/6 and c7/8 dics with compression on to spinal cord. Arthritic scarring into middle and lower spine and twisting causing the pelvic girl to move out of line at regular intervals.
Apart from that degeneration of the muscles around these areas, nowt else though. If you have an operation on the prolapse c5/6 and c7/8 discs the chance of being paralysed is 80/20 in favour of a wheelchair.
So nowt wrong, complained about the quack that said nothing wrong, got told in his professional opinion nothing that could be treated further was wrong. Meaning just fecking what?
Splash out Reg you are worth the spends mate.

Thats strange, I've got spondylosis as well. It was discovered after a car crash when I was 21. Nothing like your Jan though TD.
I would second that opinion Reg, go private. They actually listen to your opinion rather than ram theirs down your throat.

We got lots of white stuff, but not snow. -5 outside at 7am. Just started to snow now. Have a good day people and be careful we are not doomed but its a close run thing.
Yes this is certainly a calm before a storm as sounds are enhanced.

We haven´t seen any sign of the high winds yet, and the alert has been extended to Monday. Just seen that gfplux one of our new members has posted on TA that he is by the pool at TRG soaking up the sun and sounds well happy.
