Tell you why I don't get in a mental state and believe me I used to. I just think now that shit happens and if I have done what I can, obviously some things are out of your control, then it is not worth making myself feel bad about. I just remember good things and realise that if we didn't have bad things then the good would just be so ordinary and by Human nature we would make them bad.
Nowt you can do and don't feel guilty about anything because that is 75% of a bad mental state.
May not help but it is my way.
Also let yer friends share the pain.
