I had 3 cysts removed from the colon a few years back and copped a nasty one in Tenerife at the animal festival. I had compylerbactor, c-ciff, c coli and a lung infection. The treatment on the rock was fab, doctors, hospital the lot and they got me stable enough to fly back, took 2 more months to recover back home. Since that I have to be very careful as I can grab toxins quite easily but you can't live your life dodging it. This has not been a terrible hit as although still got diarrhoea and bad cramps, along with god awful headache, I am on the up already. Think it must be some bar steward not washing their hands after a crap and given me a Staffla.
