We had 2 cars on a multi vehicle policy with LV and they quoted £620 for the 2 for another years insurance. Rang them up saying we wanted to put a different car for one of them (much lower insurance group as well) and they came back and said £670! Cheeky feckers. Told them where to stick it and to not renew either from 3 Feb.
Went on the Meercat website and done both cars separate. Result was Patsys KIA Rio diesel came out at £208 with Churchill, (not even the lowest quote) and my Suzuki Jimny £196 with SAGA. So by not being a loyal customer we have saved £266.

Both of those on 3000 miles a year as well. Last year doubt we done 1000 miles each. Got two virtually new Toyo tyres with free fitting on ebay for £69 for Jimny so went to get them yesterday from Peterborough. Greeted by some pleasant muslims in tyre warehouse but,,,,,,,,, only person wearing a mask was me! And they were smoking inside. 
There was a new looking placque on the wall. In memory of a much loved brother ete etc. I didnt dare ask how he died.......
