Good morning Cru hope Micky is ok and all goes well at the vets.
Heavy mist so can only just see across the road. My heating has been on for ages up here in the frozen north.

Cam, I need some ideas on a Celtic Wedding, hope you have some.
well not sure what sort of info you are looking for but here's a wee list
stationery
made my own invitations with claddagh symbol on them can get images on line and change colours using paint or some fancier image editing software
i spent ages getting the size and colour just right
lr showed me a you-tube video once of how to draw celtic knots, really easy once you know how
venue
on a sort of related theme my wedding was at a castle, you can search for possible locations online will tell you if it already has a licence for weddings too
flowers
thistles are great, can get fake ones so they don't jag you and will last too,
heather, shamrocks etc
clothing
tartan even the bride and her party can get involved
don't need to go overboard, even just a sash or shawl or just a small part of the dress
favours
anything with celtic designs - bottle stoppers, bookmarks, jewellery boxes, hip flasks
all depends on how much you want to spend
hope this helps

Not too sure MM but I think TD has been asked to be a best man so it could be he wanted to know what happens at a celtic wedding. We shall have to wait and see what is response is.

Hi MM. thanks.....Mum is right I am Best frog. Jan will make the Invites as she does Pergamano. She is also making the cake as she also makes Wedding cakes and hand made sugar paste flowers. We have a piper, used him at Mum's funeral and my Bro will sort Morris dancers.Mermaid wrote:

I'm racking my brains trying to think of a similar situation.
A writer, buried standing up facing the sea. :what:

The dutchess was buried in scarborough, Thats were he has a flat over looking the sea, Did you know he got the QE2 to stop off shore once, Aked why he said "Because i can" He was all over the place, Talking to somebody today, Said he was in Otley a few weeks ago, A little shop used to get his cigars, They had a room at the back for test driving the cigars, He burst in shouting "Customs and Exise" Yes he was a nutter, I'l have a room full of them, Rather than some twat like Pickle p from elswhere, He is a strange fecker
