It's reared it's ugly head again I see.
pffft has been banned and there's a little bit of anarchy in the ranks.
Love it - haha.

Put the wrong people in charge of anything and it will go tits up. My way or no way usually
I find it a bit sad because it was great at one time,

Re: Illegal lettings
It was Reg. When we all joined years ago and Zarion was still in charge and contactable, it was a great forum. I used to get answers to all sorts of things about Tenerife. Shame really...Mcqueen wrote:Put the wrong people in charge of anything and it will go tits up. My way or no way usually

So it seems nobody is accepting responsibility. Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? Shame really cos there are some really good peeps on that forum.

Re: Illegal lettings
Slodgie has taken a mini-breakdown according to KJ, who is no longer a "Mod" and just helps out now and then. If Slodge is away for a while who will be modding? Mike in Chayofa hasn't been on for yonks. Garlicbread, Cairo, etc. haven't seen them for ages. Anybody know who Admin is?

Re: Illegal lettings
Shame about Slodge, he didnt deserve the slagging he was getting. I have met him a couple of times and hes a thoroughly decent chap, in fact it was he who let me back on there. And I didnt even have to grass you bullies up!
Anyway as I said before I dont really want to get involved, no doubt it will all come out in the wash.

Eliot's OK. Met him a couple of times, he was always skint as he had no work, so I got him a couple of pints...

Mike gave me a really hard time about my garage, I put it up for sale on there, "HOW MUCH "
Has it got 2 bedrooms and 2 showers ?, Estate agent sometime i think
Anyway i sold it and it turns out he cant sell his place in chaofa because its too dear,
What go's around comes around, "HOW MUCH"

Re: Illegal lettings
When I first moved here I met 'Mike in Chayofa' he was then an estate agent, I wasn´t using him just met in his office one day by chance and he is a really nice chap. IMO the best that forum ever had....... Oh I have met Mr Tenerife Teddy or whatever he callls himself, he repaired my laptops, he is a nice genuine guy as well. As for the rest who are/were Mods I don´t like the way their comments come across to people, they seem so far up their own importance it just makes me want toMcqueen wrote:Mike gave me a really hard time about my garage, I put it up for sale on there, "HOW MUCH "

Re: Illegal lettings
I think you know me well enough McQ to know that I can be a bit critical so if either of the people above had just the slightest thing off kilter then I would have spotted it (takes one to know one and all that ) but they were both really good guys and I could genuinely find no fault with either. I also used to think that about the comments they made although they rarely posted, they were always balanced and never looked as if they had been hitting the bottle which was more than could be said for some of the posts that were made when I used to be a member.

Re: Illegal lettings
Ah thinking back it would have been by PM, He told me not to push my luck, because i posted it for sale before i had 20 posts or something, He was right i only joined to sell the garage,
Look where it got me I took offence and never really forgot it, so you are probably right as usual, sorry Mike if your looking in,

Re: Illegal lettings
The first time We went to Tenerife, Mike had friends staying in Puerto Santiago and said he would call over to where we were staying. I forgot my laptop charger ( no smartphone back then) and couldn't contact him. Mike dropped up to where we were staying anyway, and walked around the pool area listening for an Irish accent. I thought it was a very nice thing to do. Top man.
