Well, survived my trip to London today, no tickets. I had a word with the parking man he said only allowed 5 minutes in residents bay but I spoke nicely and he let me do it. Took hour and a half, stuff on 4th floor. Good job the price was right. Picked up a big roll of material on the way back too. She was fit! Shame I brought Freddie for the loading really. Never mind, I can dream.

I have just been on the Diabetic help forum, After reading that lot it would seem i'm doomed ,
Nothing is straight forward with it, This morning the Doctor said avoid potatos, rice, bread, pasta,
So i did what i normaly do and rang Janet and blamed her for my condition, (Too much Chic Ken)
She went on this forum for some Menu's for diabetics, Try to eat as much potatos, rice, pasta , and bread as you can, Confused . com, Oh and avoid fruit - too much sugar in it, So the nurse says have your five a day, I mean WTF am i supposed to eat then ?,

I told you about Carbs a long time ago. They produce insulin so imbalance you High protein is best, all about right type of fat. If you remember I gave you the name of a diet. it is on here in another post. Listen to me, its the future.

We had a great day selling tickets today, in 2 hours we took €123 and some shrapnel, left a float and have €110 to hand in to Mikey. For our sins doing it all again on Saturday. Bought your tickets the numbers are 181 to 185 for you and 191 - 195 for Jan. I have put c/o and my telephone number the draw will be on Christmas Eve and the hamper looks fab you wouldn´t need to buy food for a couple of weeks if you won that lot.

Don´t do the market Innit, used to do Nancy Spain until they moved on so don´t go down there now, only doing the K9 organised events and trying to sell a few bits on facebook, but if you want any books let me know your favourite authors and I will always come down to Los Cris with some.

Thanks Gypsy, He did send some info through Kev once, Trouble with this is everybody is different, What suits one dont suit another, We spoke when on Tablets about Metformin that neary finished me off, but it suits my brother in law, I think at the moment getting my insulin amounts ok, but then again it depends on what you do that day, At the moment 9 ish on a morning, before i inject 40 units, if i have a slow day then i'm ok, but if i get a busy busy on i start shaking about 12 noon, check my blood and it can be 3 which aint good, then tea time i can be 8 to 12 ish, i inject 26 before tea, but when i check my blood at bedtime it can be 18 to 20, you should be 4 to7, so that tels me ive sat on my arse until i went to bed, but if i was still working it would be 10 ish, So to summerise, i'm a shambles and 2 doctors tell me 2 different things, (Because they dont know diddly)
My usual quak is off this week, then i'm off 3 weeks, so i'l start again in 2013, Thank you for your concern but i better not muddy the waters. One leg is a nice man for sure tho, Bet you wished you never asked

Reg, just a thought mate. In the new year do a chart. Have a day where you do nowt and record all readings. Then have a day where really busy and do same. Then have a day with a busy morning and easy aft/eve, record. Then the opposite.
Do that on normal diet.
Then do the same where you have a high carb/ low protein diet.
Then again repeat with a high protein/ low carb.
Write it all down I will get a Guy called Martin we know to have a look and see if he can suggest at least a routine that helps, nowt to lose.

Thanks numb nuts, I do a test 3 times a day now, I get sick of pricking myself, So i do write the readings down, Quak was happy until he asked me to check when going to bed because i wasnt really too bad, happy with 9's ish, but when i did the bedtime ones he thought i was over dosing on mars bars, Nah, because i wasnt burning my tea off, If i up the tea time insulin i will put more weight on, which i dont want to happen, I think my leg pains are nerve damage, which you cant reverse, I hate not being as active as i have always been, But not giving up yet,

Eat insulin enhancing foods for dinner may work. No foods produce or contain insulin but some do work the pancreas more. There are many which bung the weight on but high potassium foods like Spinach, Indian blackberry, Banana's are very good.
