Just had a phone call from our vet, both my little girls blood tests have been completed and they are both disgustingly healthy, not bad for a 10 and 15 year old pair of old biddies. Bit like their mum and dad

ot bad considering previous health problems, good news.

Got to answer a really upsetting email and dont know what to say. Friend of 40 years now a great grandma but just found out they are giving the baby away and neither grandma or great grandma will see him again. I've avoided answering for 24 hours but cant put off indefinitely.

Had a lie in until 8 am, Quaks for 8'50, took Janet as back up, Quak had a student in with him a nervous looking 18 year old by the look of him, It was for the results of my blood test to see what the hi8bc is, (Blood sugar level over a 3 month period) Anyway i sat down and looked the doc straight in the eye and said "How long have i got to live -Give it to me straight doc" Well the poor students gob hit the floor, The doc knows me and he just laughed, I said its no laughing matter doc i need to know so i can plan telling my family, the student has now turned to look at Janet to see how she is taking it, Janet as usual is trying to keep me under control, "Take no notice" she said to the student, the doc joins in the fun and said "Wait a minute he is dying" i then had a bowel movement, "What" i said, he said we are all dying slowly the minute we are born" the doc said, so after that we got serious, Reg you need to do better sugar intake wise ? Blady hell i said i dont really go near the stuff, "Yes you do its in most things you eat, Read the packets, "Janet tell the doc what i said to you on friday morning when we went to Morrisons" Dont buy biscuits or buns or any chocolate or any crap did i not" ?" So its all your fault, you do the meals, your killing me slowly " The poor students head is turning back and forth like he was at wimbledon, Doc said "ok Reg see you in 3 months", I turned to the student and said "I hope you took all that on board we will be asking questions later" Poor bugger looked shell shocked, Doc had a big smile on his face,
