Nah, 1930's when my house was built, Kirkstall lane that runs to the left of the cricket ground is just that, a lane on there, Main Road now,
I have some photo's i took when playing about in the neighbours plane, we got a telling off for being in the flight path to LBA , Headingley is a very old village where a lot of mill owners and surgeons from the infirmary lived, lots of big old houses, my last house was built in 1750, its on a lot of old maps from when the monks from Kirkstall Abbey still ran Kirkstall forge, Cottage was on Moor Road, which ran from Meanwood Quarry to the Abbey, That road is a rat run now, Very busy busy anywhere round here, Madness,
