Chilly at the moment! We're forecast snow for tomorrow, although I thought we would get some this afternoon, looking at the sky!! I have to say that this winter has been a lot better than I was expecting though. Apart from the worst storms here for 30 years when we first arrived (hey - we ike to make an entrance)... it's been relatively mild. Bright warm sunshine during the day... but the nights are a lot cooler than Lanzarote.

Alan has brought wine home, so all's well.He didn't bring firewood - but we have enough for tonight... and he's going out tomorrow to pay some bills anyway, so he can grab some then.

Evening all. Dont stay out there too long Kev. The government are going to stop all new social security payments soon. They aint gonna pay for peoples rent and council tax. They are issuing tents instead and local councils will provide fields for their location with stand pipes and portaloos. Where there are no fields available such as in citys they will use derelict land and motorway or railway embankments. In other countrys of course they call these shanty towns. Good luck mate.

Morning all. Neighbours 12 year old girl in hospital with severe migraine and blurred vision in one eye since last week.. Can only see shadows in other. She had eye tests done last Thurs and they say her vision is fine. Don't like news like this. Everyone thinks the worst but is afraid to say it. She's having MRI today. Hopefully, it will be clear.

Hate to hear of kids with that sort of trouble Dermot, I do hope she gets better soon,
