The second time was in about 1988, I moved the brick with the swan vestas in it from the mantlepiece to the bar. Oh dear oh dear, the height of anti-social behaviour then. Both these old crabs were women too. The worst about that was I lived directly opposite the pub as well. Anyway after that I used to drop in the Old Lamb on the way home, run by a nice old fellow called Jack, and you would rarely see his wife. Thats how pubs should be, a MALE domain. Only fit birds with skimpy clothes on under 20 years of age should be employed behind the bar and any older than that should be promoted to cleaning duties before the pub even opens. Grrrr
