Totally agree with you on the naming issue...

What really gets on my tits about rape cases( in general) is that the jury can't be told of any previous regarding the accused. I mean, an accused, could have multiple convictions for sexual assault etc previously, but the case can only be judged on it's immediate merits.

I agree with the comments above, if he is found guilty then bring out the big guns but until then he should be allowed his anonymity the same as those who are accusing him.

Possibly just natural instinct, Darwin and all that, well you just got to look at this guy and the monkey /ape bit...

They shouldn't name until beyond all reasonable doubt but the press rules ok
