Going to a certain shop in Adeje - if I can find it and if there is parking within reasonable distance.

I'm sure there's a sex shop nearer to you than having to go all the way up to Adeje...

A while back I said to Val "fancy a trip down to the Greenmantle hotel at Broughton, so off we go , on arrival no hotel ,just a brand new housing estate, must get out more , you're spot on that is the road to Biggar. [nice drive]

We had a sausage with our salad tonight, it was lovely, pork and leek but we were given a small piece of Lorne as neither Jim nor I had tasted it before, it was very meaty but not really to either of our tastes so not something we would buy but I can see how lots of people would love it.

The best lorne I have tasted is made by a friend of ours Robert Black a butcher from Alloa he does one called Braveheart which has black pudding in the centre, quite expensive but truly delicious

I am watching it also. This is not doing anything for Tenerife in my opinion.searcher wrote:Watching a show on channel5 about T.F. lazy daze is on showing Pete the P.R making a fool of himself

I disagree. Just seen it, twice. Winter sun, cheap booze, party time innit. Didnt know LazyDaze was featured, Stu camera shy? All good advertising in my opinion. Cant wait to spend the kids inheritance personally.

Had to laugh at the folks at Los Geranios ,right load of posers , this will probably lose home owners mega bucks, who would buy a house there now? unfortunately Vals old business partner still owns a lovely apt there, spoke to Pete last time we were out and he was wrecked then too

Re: What are you doing today??
Jolly for film crew, you saw the back of me twice, soon as they turned up I left, not getting involved in that shite. Pete is actually a very knowledgable guy and was once very well off, he can be hilarious but not good for Tenerife this kind of program

Yeah, see Blyth mentioned it in a post, think she recorded that, we were at the quiz last night, lost, two of our team missing, one ill and one being quizmaster, since the quiz guy died we (the teams) still take it in turn to set the quiz, my Scots mate was down, but he's a stupid twat so didn't help us much, mind you we did carry on and have a good night, ended up at the pub with piano/guitars, guy in our team who plays both always heads there after the quiz, so we all went last night, there was another guy in who was also good on both, so a good night was had,,, taxi home job, last bus was well gone by the time we finished, Scots mate had to be in Huddersfield for ten o'clock this morning, doing a speech at a conference,,, state he was in he'll be speaking more shit than he normally does...

Re: What are you doing today??
Went to bed after my last post on here about the pensioners in T.F. everything O.K, woke up a couple of hours later and thought the gaffer up there wanted me, I honestly thought I was dying, couldn't get a breath all my bronchial tubes seemed to have closed up, started to panic and that made it worse, got a grip ,made a big glass of T.C.P. and water and drunk/gargled for 5 mins to my relief I could breath a bit better, down stairs oil of olbas inhalation at last I could breath again, luckily we had some cold/flu extra strong capsules in the medical cabinet, what a fever I had, only had flu once before when I was much younger, but this was a proper BXXXXXX thank god I don't have any chest/breathing problems normally as I think I would have been a goner, this is the first time out of bed for 2 days apart from toilet/shower, thank god I have a fantastic nurse .

Re: What are you doing today??
OMG that sounds awful. I have sinus problems which mean sometimes I can't breath but I keep either Prednisone or Dacortin which are bought over the counter for €1.88 for 30 tabs of 5m. You can take them every day if you want but I just take 1 when I really need it and take one for a couple of days then it makes it easier to breath for a few days at a time. Can you get them in the UK if not pick some up when you are next here.

Re: What are you doing today??
Nothing to do with old age Cam , in fact if I hadn't had my "pensioners jab" I doubt if I would be sitting here today, my daughter tells me people were dropping at work and were off for weeks with this one, a wee bit of advice ! get some Sudafed nose spray and flu capsules and maybe some Beechams sore throat sweeties in just in case, I'm no light weight and it knocked me for six
