Today I had my free NHS health check. My cholesterol is fine. Unfortunately that was the end of the good news. Back next Tuesday early with no food or drink allowed so they can check my sugars. Hmmm, I have already taken drastic action and cut the sugar in my tea in half. Then I went shopping and had a blonde moment, I got strawberry jam.

Re: What are you doing today??
Our nightmare continues Mother dead 3 weeks today and we cant do the funeral she wanted.
The nutcase brother has scared the funeral director to death and cancelled the service,
He has told the council she may have died in suspicious circumstances, so if she gets cremated they cant exhume the body if they need to do an autopsy She was 89 and fell, then had a heart attack She didnt want to be buried but nutter wants to bury her, WTF,
My mother will be taken away and buried without anybody knowing or attending
He is begining to get on my nerves now,
Last July tried to keep it a secret that other brother had died,
Solicitor is as much use as a rubber ladder, and she will get paid whatever,
Sleep tonight i doubt it

Re: What are you doing today??
Reg, don´t let him win, suggest he may be the only one involved in suspicious misdemeanours and that you are going to inform the police and pay an investigator unless he agrees to a cremation

Re: What are you doing today??
You only have to plant the seed and a funeral director will run a mile.
Solicitor says the safest way is to bury her, but that is not what she wanted,
We could turn it into a Helen Smith and fight for 25 years untill somebody else die's, Ie him,

Reg, I hope you are writing everything down, it would make a fantastic book - people would think it was fiction not real life - it would be a best seller

Re: What are you doing today??
Wow, just saw some badminton on the tele, England v England final it was. England won.
Old aerial on a pole on a chimney stack fell off last week, just dangling by the cable it is. Cut the fecking grass, kill some weeds......... Day off from Wells, chock a block it is, Carnival week. 3 young teenage girls turn up on the yacht next to mine, Mummy and Daddy loading it up with Champagne and other goodies. You wont get much sleep tonight they said. They were right, I couldnt get the sight of one of them climbing over the guard rails exposing the smallest pair of white knickers ever out of my mind.
Now, if only I was 40 years younger........

Re: What are you doing today??
Yesterday was a funny sort of day, one of them were you do nothing but pay out all day,
I hate that Last thing was the printer packed up and we really really needed it,
At times like that i usualy throw it out of the window and go get another, but it was late and janet was guarding it with her life, I said blox i'm off to bed i'll smash it in the morning,
Good job i sold a car last thing or i would have been depressed

Re: What are you doing today??
Went to the sales yesterday to catch a last minute bargain. Wanted a plain white t-shirt and a new fly-swot.
Came home with a water system for the back garden, a couple of throws and cushions for the garden furniture, two table lamps, a rug for the living room although there was nothing wrong with the one we have and a new loo roll holder as ours has decided it wants to swing round in circles. Never did get the fly swot or the t-shirt.
