Last night Lex and me made 2 boats from bits of wood, I put her in charge of ballast, Filled a bucket up with water and explained what it was all about, So she go's in my drawer of bits of metal brackets big washers and stuff like that while i crafted Lillys boat from a bit of 4x2, meaning i chopped the corners off and made it boat shape, I watched Lex banging nails and screwing screws with the drill,
Off she went and placed it in the bucket, well she burst out laughing as it sank to the bottom,
Then comes out with Titanic is a 5 hour film
, she shed some ballast until it looked level all round,
Today we are going to the victorian boating pool at the foot of Ilkley moor just down from the white house or old plunge pool bathing house, We used to go there when small, but we never had boats so we used to watch the rich kids playing,
Should be a laugh
