Re: What are you doing today??
My washing machine is making nasty clonking noises. I suspect its a bearing. However first I have to move the old machine thats sitting on top of it. Its in the downstairs loo which is only 5' x 6' so not much elbow room and I'm all on my own. Fecking heavy it is, why dont they put handholds or handles on them? And teles too (the old big ones). 3 things can happen, success, I drop the fecker or I get injured..........

Today I'm checking the calendar, yip it's the middle of August,,, last night after the quiz (which we won), we headed in to town for a drink, went in to Yates's, confronted by a huge display advertising Christmas dinners,,, WTF,,, it's August, Christmas is over four months away.......

Re: What are you doing today??
Back from York and had a great time, nice to be on our own for a change,
Been to Morrisons , my cafe was heaving, dont like going late when all the plebs are up
Been to pick some cars up and now back in our house, and i'm not shifting.
I love York, I could live there no problem, I found myself looking in the estate agents window

The whole approach to it is something else, Pink Floyd wish you were here playing and BAM you come round the corner and cant believe your eyes, Remember that forever

Re: What are you doing today??
Well its that time of year once again... Footy is back
Not fussed to be honest, mates been on to all week about getting down club early for a few pints but its not appealing like it used too.
I'll go and watch games but living 5 minutes away means I can leave at 2.50pm and still get there in time for kick off.
Well having my grandson this morning makes everything else far less interesting might get bit more up for footy when I reluctantly take Alfie home at 1.
Then out for a meal for daughters birthday tonight.
