Thanks guys and gals. No time for convalessing, its summer here anyway. I have gone from the bottom of the consultants scale all the way to the top now. Mr Moss is in control now, about my age. We had a nice chat, he said he used to smoke and he knows its hard but he gave me the lecture..............

He said this could possibly cause a problem with saliva glands. Solved that already, walk round with a handy bottle of beer. 

Been waiting for an appointment for a diagnosis, got it today ,St Margarets in lone ranger town, told them to piss off until they can fit me in at the Royal 1 mile away, cheeky barstewards

Had my ear op on Monday. It has been leaking sticky stuff since, it hurts and now I can hear all sorts of shite I can live without. The man says it might fall out and need to have it done again. Trust me. I wont bother.    Got a parking ticket as well. Parked where I usually do, in the street, trouble is its now a residents zone. Not obvious at all. Did spot the signs when leaving, they are right next to a mini roundabout. Strange, but when I'm approaching a mini roundabout I'm genarally looking out for cars, not fecking street furniture. I have appealed. If I win West Norfolk Council will not have one of their vehicles destroyed. 

what did they do to your ear? I thought it was a mouth problem??
