Whatever happened to?

First post here, As a kid I went to Tenerife and more specifically Los Cristianos a few times and remember really loving it there however I haven't been since 2001 but the good news is I am coming back next year :)
With that said it has got me thinking of places (bars/restaurants) I remember from the walk from were we stayed (Tenerife Sur) to the beach front and was hoping those with a good and long knowledge of the area could help me with what has become of these places (what they are called now, the reputation etc)

Amigo's restaurant on the beach front was my favourite place and I have heard it has changed names/owners other than that I remember

Tropicana/Tropicana gardens near the apartments possibly called lewinskys now?
Chicagos
Hole in the wall
Pink elephant

And one more thing I was wondering, I know they have built Siam Park since last I went and assumed they renovated Octopus/Aqua park but I see that is still open, Just how close are the two parks? Seems odd to have them both in the same general area

Welcome, You will get plenty response. Hole in the wall still going. Aqualand, personally I prefer but coz I have grand kids of young age but must say Siam is great, beer and food in both are shite and expensive so take yer own.

Welcome, I started heading Tenerife about the time you were last there, recognise a couple of places you mention but last few times we've been out its been more the PDLA end we've been so bit out of touch with what's happing with bars/restaurants in the Los Cris area...

Been Siam Park a few times, get in training now,,, to slide down them slides you've gotta climb up them first...

Where you staying when your out next year, may be able to point you in direction of some watering holes...

Yes beer in parks at Aqualand you are quite fortunate as A Dialaprix shop opposite so you can go over there and get cold beers as they let you in and out, but beer on park not great.

Thanks, I was over at tenerifeforum.org previously but when tried logging back in recently just keep getting database errors, Guess the place isn't being maintained so well haha.

We stayed in Cristian sur last july. Not bad at all. The cafe/bar isn't much to look at but the food is surprisingly good. If you want, I can tell you the restaurants we liked most in Los cris or maybe you will want to explore yourself. Welcome to the forum btw. 

Always open to suggestions bud, Like I say about a year to go yet, But can still take notes, I mentioned a place called Lewinskys (formerly Tropicana) that I seem to remember being very close to the apartments but that is the only one I can remember other than the ones on the beach front.
