I saw this little fella while driving about at work today. A stoat with it's winter woolies on. (Always has a black tip to it's tail though). Poor wee thing is looking for mice and rabbits and voles and such like. It'll never be able to sneak up on them like that without any snow cover! Funny old winter this year, they say the snowdrops and daffodils are showing down south already!

Yup - we have Daffs flowering in our garden Cam.
I'm not going to put my thermal Long Johns away yet though !

All the roadside verges in my area are planted with dafs which do look nice but no sign of them coming up yet. Only just turned my heating on though. Extraordinarily mild for mid January.
