Yonex All-England Badminton

This is one of the most prestigious events on the world tour. On SkySports4HD just now. Being played at NIA in Birmingham. I first went to see this in 1972 when it was played at Wembley Arena, then it moved to it's new home in Brum and I've been 3 times to see it there. Usually on the Sundat as that is final's day.
Anyway, if anyone is interested it should be on TV tomorrow and Sunday as well. I'm off to play now, we're half an hour later this week.

Damn! Men's Singles Final between Lin Dan of China and Lee Chon We of Malaysia has been stopped. Lee has had the doctor on twice for a pulled muscle in his shoulder (racquet arm). LinDan won the first game 21:19 but the second game was conceded at 6:2. It's a shame really as these two usually meet in the finals of these big events and it's always a riveting match. They are the world's Nos. 1 & 2.
Well, I'm playing at 6:00pm so I'm away to get ready.
