Here's a thing, how come Spain got 40 billion to put into their crumbling banks with NO CONDITIONS and no direct involvement from the Troika and IMF in the financial running of the country, while we in Ireland are suffering drastic cuts and tax increases to pay for the bail out of our banks?? If Cameron wants to pull the UK out of Europe, I only hope that we over here stand squarely behind him and lend every support we can.

Never thought I'd hear myself say it, but I'd seriously consider it. I know you're messing but there are actually solid economic reasons behind it. The UK is our biggest trading customer and we are your 4th biggest. It would make sense at least to have a common currency. And, nowadays, we have much more in common than what separates us. AND, we'd have a common foe. As a bloke said to me on holidays, Germany had 2 go's at taking over Europe by force and when that failed, they are now doing it through finance and economics. That fella, Nigel Furnish (??) was over here recently giving a talk. Feckin place was jammed. If I was living in the UK, he'd get my vote.
