Patsy pointed a cloud out to me on Monday, said it looked like a tornado forming. Dont be silly I said...

A few years back Father in law phoned us. he lived on the seafront about 6 miles away from us. He said there was a Tornado coming across from the west, running commentary said, it had just passed his flat about 2 miles at sea but was turning back towards land.
What we experienced after that was weird. The house shook but the feeling inside was horrible, as though you had lost control of your body. Looked out of window and it was snowing, or seemed that way but it was horizontal.
News next day showed the path and we had the tail go through us, but Selsey, around 30 mile away and Peacehaven about 20 miles the other way were wrecked.

In the centre of a tornado the air pressure drops dramatically, can suck the air out of your lungs. Hmmmmmmm,,,, nah I wont try that.

You would struggle to get many this side of the pond who would have lost a minutes sleep had the IRA managed to get her. However, too many innocents on all sides died. Didn't Norman Tebbits wife die in that bombing?
