Isn't it weird how accents can travel that far??? If you hear the Nova Scotia acccent you'd swear the person was Irish ( maybe living in North America for a few years ). Not only that, but the accent is from a specific port on the south coast here.

There are Welsh immigrants who live right at the tip of South America near Cape Horn. Cant remember what the place is called. Keep sheep they do.
