Looking good but .....

The forum looks great, love the new heading banner, love the slide show, not sure about the font for the buttons, can see some having problems there.

But any chance we can change the colour from this dull blue/grey it is too reminiscent of the weather in the UK, can we have a bit of sunshine PLEASE...... No not bright yellow as I think that would hurt the eyes but perhaps something less grey.

Is that Navbar any better M? Can you see it all on one line?

Yes it's better (clearer) but the 'log out' drops on to a second line.

Whoa, that's too bright you know the oldies will give you hell for that.

Going back to the nav bar how about getting rid of the groups, does anyone ever look at them and what do they see??

Give us a mo, I've taken 13px off each button so it should fit now, and yes, you're right about the "Group" button Gypsy, I'll leave that off.

Don't like the photo of the beach and sun loungers. What was wrong with the palm trees and nuts?

This is the one on my facebook, you could use that and then we can go back to our black and orange theme. Just crop the bottom off so you have Teide with blue and orange sky.

No can do. The buttons already have the font on them, you can't just delete the existing font and change it.

OK! IGNORE EVERYTHING I SAID, I am now used to the new look and IMO it is brilliant just as it is at the moment.

Thank feck! I've been tinkering and made the box border colour same as the link font colour and the scrolling announcement colour. Plus I've been playing with the portal and trying to get it sort of symmetrical down both sides! And I've added our site description again under the "Welcome" heading in the portal. I've also managed to get borders between the pictures in the "Gallery slide show" at the bottom of the portal, which makes the scrolling photos look tidier.

Well members the messages button has now gone awol. Its now called INBOX. Mary will know what that means.

Sorry Vince, I think these button are cleaner and easier to see. Plus they balance up the blue a bit...
