One of my friends didn’t get in to work today until almost one o’clock, staff where she works had been told by their boss not to attempt to come in if conditions were very bad, unfortunately we only had a dusting of snow here last night, the reason I say unfortunately is that she assumed going by all the severe weather warnings she was guaranteed a day off today and got completely rat arsed last night, she’s just text to say she’s suffering from a grade one hangover plus asking if she can sue the Met Office for half a days pay...

They been out and cleared the main a27 bypass but most roads difficult. ent in to Brighton this Morning to do a bit of business and it wasn't too bad, came back an hour later, 3 accidents, cars sliding everywhere, some muppet in 4x4 sat on top of concrete bollard. Still snowing.

Well it hit us late afternoon blizzards, couldn't get to visit mother in law on Hosiptal 10 miles up road roads closed main arterial road at a stand still just managed to turn off otherwise we'd be still stuck there now

Snow on boats..........
Welney wash looking North, the dark bits are frozen water and until last week the road was flooded 2' deep. Many bird species spend the winter here from siberia etc but I couldnt see any. They should try Tenerife!

I was up there about 6 months ago. We went up the mountain railway. It was great except it went all misty and we couldn't see feck all when we got to the top...

All gone here on Northumberland coast that salty sea air however couple of miles inland its still bad but only snow we've got left is the shrinking mounds we've all created in clearing our drives.

We are on coast and normally lose it quick but a bit more lands each day. Very icy out tonight, it thawed for an hour earlier then froze over, roads are bad.

Spoke to soon, this morning (or middle of the night depending how lazy you are) there's a light covering of the stuff and its frozen after its landed drive to work will be 'interesting' at this time of the day.
