Any suggestions on how to stop this? I've tried Nivea cream but that's not doing it.

Vaseline. ( Genuinely)! Its probably just a patch of dry skin. Vaseline will lock in the moisture. Our wee fella had cradle cap. Vaseline cured it in two weeks.

Oatmeal & honey. Mix together 2 tablespoons of oats with a tablespoon of honey and a dash of water. Warm up the mixture, then rub it onto your forehead for a few minutes in a circular motion. This will exfoliate the dead skin. Wash it off with warm water. Rub olive oil onto your head straight after and leave it on.

Have you not tried the wee fishes ,all the rage over here at the moment , you might have to buy a snorkel though
