Lovely, think Macie Jade should have her own Under the Spotlight thread, we can then keep an eye on how she is doing. You can put all her photos there and keep us up to date, breast or bottle, first nappy after going onto solids YUK!!! first swear word....... you know the sort of thing.

Poor little thing, all these proxy uncle and aunts giving advice and telling her how life really is. That will make her the smartest kid in Scotland.

No, think they are softies really - just don´t tell anyone.

Start it with the photos when you get back from the hospital. I want to see one of you and LR and her together so we see who she resembles most.

Its a good name to remember, She will use it when she becomes a model, Macie is a great youngsters name too, Ive heard it before, but never come across one, I do know a Jade,

Well some say Tormaline and others say OPAL as birthstone, I reckon Opal is best option.

Well, we still haven't seen the wee one yet as we have been waiting on a phone call to see whether daughter was getting out of hospital today. Apparently she is getting out today but still don't know what time so afternoon visiting time has been and gone. Her hubby says they will visit us when they get home, knowing my luck it'll probably be when I'm at badminton!

Well thats a bugger We live 5 minutes from the hospital, So saw both within 30 minutes of being born

Their all red and wrinkley though, plus all they do is

We sat in Hospital cafe waiting for the appearance. She was bang on the day and mid morning, spot on, only waited an hour and as Reg says 30 mins after, bit of time to straighten out etc, we were there going ah, woo, coo, ooooo, coo.

well it was 6.30 when they came,of course granddad missed her as he had left for badminton. He will see her tomorrow I hope before we go to the enchanted forest.

I know it is all personal choice, but I think it is so nice to see her dressed in pink and white. I hate to see babies in greens, browns and navy. I know they may be practical but heck baby clothes take no washing and a princess should always look like a princess not the bloody skivvy.

yep i totally agree, i would dress her in top to toe pink,
when she has her hat on she looks like a wee gnome (but in a really cute way!)
