I have just read on Facebook this evening that Shaun Tighe passed away today. Several of you guys will know Shaun as Megsdad from the other forum. I remember several years ago Linda and I offered to help him while his permanent carer was on holiday and we got slated for it from the so called caring people who are members of the other place because we said we would do it for nothing but obviously that meant that if we did then they could not rip him off for their assistance.
Both Linda and I knew Shaun as a straight talking man. the incident upset him greatly and he stayed away from forums for a long while. Like all of us he slowly came back but there was always a note of distrust in his posts. Hurt too many times ....
Shaun lost his long battle with MS today and although his family will be devastated, he is IMO in a better place. RIP Shaun, a true gent and lovely guy.
