Did you ever hear such shite??? Every year ( end of July I think), there is a pilgrimage walk to the top and back. Peeps do this in bare feet can you believe 
. And why should the catholic church have authority over the top?? The whole area is commonage!!! And another thing, if the feckin' church is so concerned, let them pay for the upkeep of the paths etc. feckin' hypocritical bar stewards. They can stick their "holy mountain" up their hole!

Btw, I did climb it years ago. The views are unbelievable. Also, John Lennon NEVER wanted to start a commune. He sold up when he couldn't get planning permission for a house and jetty.
