    Go to Guia de Isora, then follow the signs up towards Santiago del Teide, you have to go through it, some is one-way because it is so narrow, then once out the other side there is a Mirador where they do Ok food and you can pick the almonds and dates off the trees.

    The views are magnificent, you can sometimes see La Palma

    Only really been to Masca and Candelaria. We were considering hiring a car this time and heading inland a bit to see some of the villages.

    No that's Taucho, up in the hills.

     TD is talking about the place on the coast that has half a dozen houses and a load of fish restaurants.  Transport
