Weekend weather

The weekend is here, and there aren't many changes to report. It will still be cloudy in Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and the north of all the other islands, where a few drops of rain early and late in the day can’t be ruled out. Plenty of sunshine and very little cloud in other areas, and it could even be a tiny bit warmer, especially at medium altitude. The north easterlies could still be rather blustery on the north western and south eastern sides of the islands.

Mightn't be any harm to update this every few days. Tripadvisor is always getting questions about the weather. Drives me nuts. "What's the weather going to be like next January ?" FFS! I know Gypsy posts a forecast on Twitter every day but a picture of a map like above is beneficial to those less savvy

I got it off Island Connections, though I don't know how often they'll update it. I can't see it being every day. I'll keep an eye on it though.

Will be much warmer at sea level though. This morning they had the Tenerife Bluetrail event on the TV. Running from Los Cristianos to Puerto De La Cruz via Teide.   Makes that downhill Masca walk look a breeze eh?

They start at midnight and run over the Island via Teide, bit like a marathon but longer and harder. Takes the good ones about 12 hours.
