Think a lot are privately owned but that doesn´t mean it isn´t legal because if 50%+1 want to rent and they get the license then it is OK.
It is up behind the Paradise Park so a bit of a hill to the seafront but really nice apartments in a quiet area.

First place we stayed in 22years ago, woke up with a cockroach crawling over my face
Complained to the rep and got no further, It was shabby then, so we marched down the hill and finished the holiday in the Gran Arona, never been with a holiday company again,

First time I went we stayed at the Comodoro, got it from teletext holidays. That was shabby. Broken furniture but cant remember any cockroaches. Got caught by Jack first afternoon. Must have been the heat........
