Well for the past year or so Jack, one of my offspring, has been working for Fenland District Council as a dustman but has been working for one of those agency type set ups. At first he had to turn up at the yard at 6am and if they wanted him he would get a days work. As time has gone on and he has proved reliable so he has progressed to working every day. Anyway on Monday they called him in for an interview for a permanent (proper job) with a contract, albeit only 3 months but thats a giant leap in these days of zero hours shite. Not everyones cup of tea I know but he enjoys the job and gets a nice suntan into the bargain too! Upshot is he gets contract so well done Jack! I will have a word with him tomorrow about getting one of those Council flats........... Oh, my old mans a dustman, he lives............... 
He apparently has accrued about 14 days holiday pay too. Silly fecker hasnt applied for a replacement passport from his kiddie one. Bad move Jack, could have been your round in Sundowners.........
