Carpenter or Joiner Required

Hi,

We are just re-vamping our apartment in San Eugenio Alto and need a Carpenter to make us either 2 single light (beech effect) wood or 1 longer headboard for fixing to wall. It is for 2 single beds pushed together. Not sure about the exact sizes until we return to Tenerife in September but estimated sizes for can estimated price are:

single headboards * 2 each about 3' * 2'
longer headboard 6' * 2' ?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

There is also I believe Les Ensby I don´t know what his work is like but I've seen him advertise.  He is a very good friend of Topdog (but don´t hold that against him).

Les is a painter and decorator and does some general building jobs, you could also go to one of the big furniture stores and buy a headboard as many sizes.

Feck me, a coherent post from Topdog. Now I do have a fleeting suspicion Steve may be a bit too mean to buy one as indeed I would so my suggestion: Next time you pass a building site you need to liberate yourself a nice scaffold plank. An 8 foot one will do because you will need to saw the metal end bits off. Buff it up nicely any shade you like and bobs yer uncle. 

Thanks for the replies folks. We have been to Conforama but they had nothing that we liked plus they were expensive for what they were!! The idea was to get one made then we could either stain or paint it to match/complement the bedside cabinets.

I heard a rumour that the natives wear skirts and funny hats but don't believe it, sometimes if near the wall I believe u can hear distant wailing too!!
