Rock Bars in Los Cristianos
Good music bars in Los Cris seem to be scarce on the ground ( not the Claddagh or Irish Times ). Anyone know of any good music bars particularly rock ones?

I heard Taylors lounge in the Pasarella centre has music, but I'm not sure what sort. I don't want any Cliff Richards wannabes bleating out living doll or some such crap

Too expensive especially for a family. Have a look on the entertainers you can see tonight Facebook page and of course Parc la paz is a mere snip from Los Cris

I'm not talking about sitting there all night ,but for a change & to keep the family occupied it's a nice place .
Anyway it depends what you drink cocktails are no different to London prices , kids get free refills on there drinks & the view & atmosphere is brilliant especially sat on the outside balcony X

Re: Rock Bars in Los Cristianos
Dreamers is OK, as is Margarita's and Bar 39 but not rock, the usual tribute acts. Not heard much about it for a while but Say Yeah also by Pasarela is, I think, the only ROCK bar.
Here in Chayofa we used to have great rock on a Friday when Frank played at the Treehouse but Si sold it on, it is now crap and Si has opened the Blue Moose Lounge in Puerto Colon, all the regulars are there, no doubt once he gets going, he will also have Frank back..... Bound to be successful because he did a great job in the Treehouse and before that O'Neills.

Demo is on about all night he don't like moving about. London prices are nasty but hey, just do not see the fascination of hard rock when better places at a snip of the price but my opinion.zdeekie wrote:I'm not talking about sitting there all night ,but for a change & to keep the family occupied it's a nice place .

Re: Rock Bars in Los Cristianos
Thanks for the help everyone. I've actually been in the Hard Rock. Its nice for an hour but not for a night, i dion't think. Also, I only drink beer so cocktails would be wasted on me. That Margarita's place. I think thats just across the road from the Cristian Sur. Its got very good reviews on tripadvisor. We'll pop in there for the food and see what the music is like at the same time. Also, Dreamers?? Is that the one at the back/side of the Irish Times?? I'll have a nosey around all the places that you guys mentioned. bound to come across something half decent. If all else fails, I'll find out where Seanie D ( Sean O Celt) is playing. I think he's very good.
