Re: Alfie
Dogs seem to know when it's time to say goodbye, when wee Bobby went it was a very peaceful event.

Re: Alfie
Sorry Kev. Alfie was so loyal to you. At least, as Carol and Vince said, it was quick.

Re: Alfie
Alfie was only about 9 years old. Same age as my Patch is now. He was apparently trained as a guide dog for blind or deaf whatever but was rejected as not really suitable. Kev was probably about the 3rd owner? Previous ones couldnt cope because Alfie had some behaviourable problems so hats off to Kev, he rescued Alfie and trained him up to a lovely dog.

Re: Alfie
Just seen this, so very sorry, it is heart breaking when you lose a member of the family and he was a wonderful boy. As said if there is a good way to go he chose it as it was so quick. Max will miss him, he thought he was his dad and did as Alfie told him. Love and hugs to you all.
