Hotel Blast Leaves Four Critically Injured

Five people were injured, four critically, in a gas explosion at a hotel in Gran Canaria this morning.

The accident happened at the Hotel Cordial, Mogán, in the southwest of the island, where staff reported a strong smell of gas prior to the explosion as one of the hotel’s two gas tanks was being refilled by a tanker. Full story HERE

Just seen that one of the victims died from her injuries in the early hours of this morning. 55-year-old Anita Berget from Norway had suffered burns to 100 per cent of her body in the explosion. Now this may sound harsh but with that amount if injury I think if it was me I wouldn´t want to live. How horrific for the poor lady and her poor family. RIP
