Re: Los Cristianos Ruins
Ashotel are asking for them to be knocked down, but they'll have to do something with the homeless who are living in them.

Re: Los Cristianos Ruins
Bit off subject, two things:-
a... Thought after that nutter, the one who cut off the woman's head, squatted in one of them ruins, thought the police had a clean up after that and got rid of them lot that hung-about round that area...
b... The building that collapsed in that area, what was the final outcome as to why, has it gon to court etc, are they rebuilding etc...

Re: Los Cristianos Ruins
The first one get rid, it's a shack,,, the second, very brave developers to put that up there,,, I recall it being built and thinking who's gonna set up business here, it's down a totally residential dead end, but I'd still feck the squatters off...

Re: Los Cristianos Ruins
The one with squatters was illegal, apparently, they only had permission to build some but continued with the rest that have remained empty all these years. Think they would make nice small houses.
Shame about the squatters, they really need somewhere but I object to those who say we should be responsible for finding it for them. I pay my taxes to look after myself, not someone who has a drink, drugs or possibly mental problem. Yeah I know that sounds very ruthless but there are organisations with far too many managers taking their salaries from them rather than putting the money into where the resources are really needed.
