Fecking marvellous innit. I park it over the hole so no silly fecker like me falls down it. Roy is coming in the morning with his Range Rover. I'm ready..........
I once drove a Micra over one of the bus pits when I worked in dublin Bus. Remember Clarkson when he was on the road of death in Bolivia??? Thats how I feckin' felt.
I think thats the only time I seen Clarkson genuinely scared. All the other ones were set ups but that! Feck me, I don't think I would even walk it, let alone drive

Sure I told this one a good time back, must be about twenty years back now, I'm on holiday with girl I was going out with in Gran Canaria, staying just outside Puerto Rico, hire a car to do a bit sight seeing, hire company give you a basic map of the island, we head Puerto de Mogan, then up through the village of Mogan, then where road on map does a U bend a few miles after Mogan we turn right in to a minor road, map shows it goes somewhere up in the volcanic region, after a few miles tarmac road turns in to a dirt track, another few miles there's a Y junction on the dirt track, this ain't on the map, I decide to go right as that would take us back in direction of area hotel we were in was,,, next thing we're on a dirt track cut in to the side of a sheer drop, track is so narrow I'm scraping the wing mirror off the cliff face on my right hand side of the car, girlfriends screaming her head off as all she's seeing is a sheer drop of hundreds of feet in to a resevior,,, she wants me to reverse back, it's past that point, track is so narrow and were only in a Fiat Panda,,, I keep going thinking if this gets any narrower were walking,,, we round a bend, I can see road leads down to a dam which it crosses, we get down to the dam, the road across it is the width of the car, no wall or fence either side, a very carefull fifty yards or so of driving...
First picture shows where side road splits from main road (mid top of picture), I have scanned google maps but can't find exact road/reservoirs but one in second picture is a bit like it...
Not a pleasant day out...
Photos won't load so put them below...

I have been down the 'Wonder where this goes' route in Tenerife too. Started off through wooded bit but then track deteriorated somewhat. Patsy getting in a tis but feck it, adventure to me. In the end we did find tarmac again. Fairly easy in Tenerife though, just keep going down......... I wont be using the bullbar to pull it out, I put that on, or a better description would be tacked on. Theres a towing eye on main cross member thats just behind it that the sling is hooked through.
